50" TV at work - Dashboard website/app to use?

I have a 50" plasma at work and want to put it to some good use. Ideally, i'd to have something like a dashboard that can display news headlines, weather, and other info that can easily be read. Something like the Captivate screens in elevators. Any ideas?

- Hooking up a Wii, cable box, Kinect, would be out of the question...

Sounds like a burn in/IR nightmare. Plasmas generally are not ideal for static images.

I'm curious as to what people have as answers to this question. I've seen http://www.stashboard.org/ but it doesn't quite do as much as I'd like.

Edit: Having done some Googling, the non-free http://www.geckoboard.com/ is also an option.

Is that the voice of the Red Queen in those How to use Geckboard videos? Sounds older, but eerily similar.

Pretty horrible voice-over readings for a companies homepage.

I tried it when it was in Beta and it was very good but I really didn't have any use for it, their pricing is ridiculous though imo (for personal use).

personally I'd write something myself, but you'd need a little html/css and javascript knowlegde (maybe also a backend language depending on what you'd want).
