$50 SuperCertificate from AT&T

I signed up late December.
Did not receive GC by the time they said I would, I had to call.
Finally arrived last week.

I think i will pass...maybe if you could get the gift certificate number immediately it might be a good deal, but i dont want to wait 2 months...

It took only about 2 weeks, and they emailed me my certificate. <For those of you who haven't gotten it, the email looked like spam from att>

yeah, if this takes as long as many of you said it has, then it's not worth it, the MCI deal from awhile back came with in 5 days, that was a good deal

a while back someone posted a phone # you can call to double check who your long distance & local toll providers are...i think it was something like 711-555-1212 or 712-555-1212

anyone remember the number ??

I signed up on Dec. 18. Called on Jan. 17, they said three more weeks. In late Jan. I got two email notices that I had received Super Certificates, I had signed up multiple phones, each on its own account. Two days later, I got an e-mail saying the two earlier notices were in error, and that I would receive a single, new, correct notice within 48 hours. I haven't got anything yet.

My intention is to wait for the certificates. After they come, I will dispute all credit charges for services after the first three weeks. I have screen shots of the signup pages where it boldly displays something like Allow up to three weeks for SuperCertificates. This will be an interesting challenge - me against AT&T.

AT&T is a big back of suck. Customer service is terrible and very hard to get a credit from them if they owe you money.

I punished them well my freshman year when I cashed a $100 check they sent me in the mail for the permission to "switch" the long distance service I had in the dorms. Needless to say, they kept trying and trying to switch them but of course, the University wouldn't let those idiots switch a provider in the dorms! 🙂

BTW how does this L&D stuff work? =)
I don't have a LD carrier right now. If I signed up for AT&T will I get billed a monthly service fee?

I switched to AT&T at the end of January to get my $50 supercertificate and I received it today (Feb 16) via email. so it took around 3 weeks. I just redeemed it at Bigstar and i'm getting some dvds!!! I'm probably going to switch back to MCI now and get 5000 frequent flyer miles for united.

Took about 2-3 weeks.

I signed up for AT&T a while back, got a $25 Amazon gc, switched to MCI for the $150 off at Amazon, AT&T sent me a $40 check to try and win me back. Signed up for this $50 giftcertificates.com one and just got it. The $40 check says I need to call AT&T prior to cashing to activate it. Will be interested to see what they say since right now I actually have them as my provider. Maybe I can find another deal w MCI and then cash the check.

I signed up in December and called after 3 weeks to see where my GC was. I was told that they had to "investigate" this and to call back after another 3 weeks. After this time passed without receiving my GC, I called again. The CSR was quite nice and said she would take care of it. I got the GC via email 2 days later. Just be persistant. AT&T will get you your GC eventually.
