$50 rebate for Viewsonic PF790

For everyone that got in on the Mercata Viewsonic PF790 deal(or purchased a PF790 btwn 10/2 and 12/31) ...

If you go on Viewsonic's website, it has a $20 rebate for the PF790 --

$20 Rebate

BUT, if you go to the rebate for the A90 --

$50 A90 Rebate

It says under "Additional Promotion Details" --

Offer valid on purchases of the A90, PF790, and A110 between 10/2/2000 and 12/31/2000.

After confirming with a Viewsonic CSR that the $50 reabate can be used with the PF790, that makes the deal even sweeter. This is my first "Hot Deal" post, so I'm glad I can contribute something back to you guys!!

Both rebates have been posted on the Viewsonic web site for a long time. Nothing new. I hope I can have a rebate for E771 and make its price down to $100 or something.

Yeah, but how many people who buy a PF790 are going to look at the A90 rebate when there is a PF790 rebate? I know I didn't. I was ready to send in the $20 one.

I bought this monitor through the Mercata deal and I love it. This monitor actually inspired me to buy a new computer to complement its beauty. Thanks for the info on the $50 rebate.

The only thing: one of my friends just told me he can get me a 21" Sony Trinitron for $250 shipped. Can you say, "Ouch!" So I think I might need to pick one up. But it might capsize my desk.
