I see it in OfficeMax's insert in today's S.F. Chronicle, Page 6.

Khypermedia 50-Pack CD-RW's
1-4x recording speed

$4.99 (Reg. $17.99)

Online, it says $13 instant rebate, but there's evidently no rebate for B&M deal, just a straight up price of $4.99.

Anybody have a take on the quality of these?

Yeah, that is pretty weak nowadays. All my CDRW's are 4x but I've had them for 3+ years. I'd like my next ones to be at least 10x.

4x 650MB...those discs are ancient.

Crappy deal.

Do they have CDRW disks with more than 650 MB?

Yes. The reason I pointed this out is that if you buy it B&M with no rebate, you'd only pay sales tax on $4.99. If you buy online, you might have to pay sales tax on $17.99.

Nope, they base sales tax on what's in your cart... When you add the item to your cart, it shows at $4.99
