A cow-orker and I just grabbed two of the 80's from the Cincinnati store. Still had one left, and a ton of the 74 minute cd-rws as well.

At least these come with a spindle. I have 50 Kodaks that really need a way to keep them all together.

BTW, the price was actually marked as $9.99 here in Cincy.

Picked some up today in Greensboro, NC. Appeared to have quite a number of boxes left. Price on shelf was $9.99. It's unbelievable how prices have dropped on CDRs and CDRWs.

JIZ76 - I saw the other boxes of CDRWs on the shelves going for much higher prices as well. If these work well, then I guess it doesn't matter what the differences are.. All that matters is we paid $9.99 for 50 of them.

dakata, do you honestly have THAT much to burn? Wow, I've never heard of 80min CDRWs. I went to Fry's Electronics once and asked the guy where the 80min CDRWs were and he looked at me like I've been smoking crack and said those do not exist.

hee hee... I forgot to bring the sku So I kinda paniced... but I did remember it ended with a 49/50 and was greenish/white/silver...

I have tried these cd a month ago with the 25pk 74 min.. They seem ok for me... if its made the same then they are good to go!

hee hee... about the cdr's I think I have 150 CDRw's(3 X 50), 170 cdr's (20 from Imation, 50 from kodak, 40 from TDK, 50 OUTPOST) maybe another 50 from friend(outpost)

I think I need to make some VCD's!/ DIVX some movies on the way! lol...... maybe i'll hang them up as a wall mirror.... I think it will look pretty cool... little circular disks covering the whole wall!!!!

There are about 20 80 min. cd-rw at compusa in long beach,ca. And there are a lot of 74 min.

They are behind the counter.

Hey, some CSR from DALLAS called me and told me that my backorder will be available for pickup at the (sold out) Compusa in Culver City, Los Angeles, this weekend.
I talked to her and she said that NOT the stores BUT Dallas HQ decides what and how much is shipped to a store!
That I call "top-down"....
Anyhow, they will have some CDRW 80 min available this weekend, but she wouldn't say how many.
I didn't dare to ask about the pricing (error?), as long as they sell it at that price, everything should be OK with us....
