We just got info from regional that a new stock of serta matresses is coming in next month, all of our matresses currently in stock (all serta) will be marked down 50% from their already low prices on Friday.

This may be limited to the region im in (Pennsylvania, Ohio, and Western New York).

Just a heads up on a great deal :)

Man...I wish I could snag this deal... I need a new mattress. :( Unfortunately, I'm not in the Sam's club and don't have the money right now for a new one. :p

Thanks for the post...I'd like to see more mattress deals posted on here. ;)

I called and verified in Chattanooga, TN on Wednesday that there would be a sale. I purchased a King sized bed on Wednesday night... I was able to talk the manager into giving me the difference since it's not even been 48 hours yet.

I got a Serta Northstar Crystalline (firm) mattress for $299.79 with tax and all after my $300.94 refund. ;) I slept soooo good last night.

Bring a truck...and hurry before they sell out.

You can always go and ask to pick it up later...they do that.

Thanks OP.

Sarasota and Bradenton, Florida had the sale. As of right now they have 2 queen firms left and 4-5 full firms left. I just saved alot of money on a bed I really needed.

Thanks OP-- Just got a King Size 3 pc Pillowtop with frame for $418 tax included! The bedding itself was $350-something, the frame was $36, then tax here in Missouri. Thanks again, just made my girl's day! :)

Thanks OP. I just picked up a Queen plush set for $219 + tax in MN. Just a piece of advice, call the store near you before going because this sale is hitting different stores on different days, and also because they sell out quick. I called a store and they had 6 queen pillowtop sets left, called back less than an hour later and they were gone. Good thing there are several Sam's Clubs in the Twin Cities, MN area.

The only thing that makes me feel better about the fact that I had built my parents a foam bed is that the Sam's Club here is about a 7 hour drive from where my parents live (where there aren't any Sam's Clubs). Heh.

It's not luck...it's called calculated risk. Half of getting deals is taking a chance and making sure you can talk your way through them. When I walked into Sam's on Friday, I was basically talking to the manager the same way I haggled street vendors in Rome. :D

I'm just surprised that more people didn't try my method to get first pick on the goods.

Well, I would have tried your method if the manager at my store had verified that there would be a sale instead of telling me that there definitely WOULDN'T be!

Thank goodness I didn't take his word and went on Friday morning. The sets were on sale and I got the ones I wanted - plush king set $282, firm full set $189.

Thank you very much! My local sale on these mattresses began today and I was there when they opened! I got lucky and called yesterday and found out about it. I bought a Queen sized Plush and a Full sized Firm. I'll take the Queen and put the Full in my guest bedroom. But I'll try both out to see what I like best.

Also, when I called yesterday, I was told about "Fax and Hold". You can fax in an order and they'll hold it for you. However, they had stopped doing that for this item because of the demand at this store.

Thanks again, sweet dreams...:D

I checked the Sams in McDonough last week and they didn't know anything about it.
