I read a bunch of the review recently and it sounded like the game was plagued by really poor AI and some pretty serious bugs. My thought at the time was that this would be a great bunch of games if the issues were patched but I don't know if it ever was or not. Anyone able to chime in?
I really enjoyed playing the very first Ghost Recon, way back when. For whatever reason, I liked it a lot more than any of the R6 games I've tried out. Never did get a chance to play the two expansion packs.
As for the two newer games, I haven't played those yet (I bit on this deal, but I decided to play through the older games first). I hear some negative things about excessively difficult missions. We'll see I guess...
I really liked the first one on PC. Very realistic and terrific squad controls. I remember it killed my 2x 7900 GTOs in the day at high settings, but any more recent card should run it fine.
Never played GRAW 2 on PC, but the 360 version was great.
The original GR and it's two expansions are great. I'd say it's worth 10 bucks for that set. However, I tried GRAW 1 for PC and thought it stunk. I actually got it for 6 bucks on some crazy Circuit City deal back about 2 years ago and it wasn't even worth that. Don't know about GRAW 2.
