I have no idea (yet) if there's really any bargains. You don't need any special link or code, just go to familywonder and you'll see a yellow box with "Get 50% off". 50% will be deducted from each item in your shopping cart.

Here's the details:

? All items purchased at partner sites, such as toys and books are not eligible.
? You will pay all tax and shipping charges.
? This offer may be used up to 7 times per household.
? Individual items may not exceed $75
? Order amounts cannot exceed $200.
? This offer cannot be combined with any other offer.
? This promotion is a limited time offer.
? All purchases must be made online.

Let us know if you find anything good!

edited: don't forget there's a 15% ebates rebate

Well, family blunder it may be,
but recently they have acquired new management and a rich one at that. Sega bought familywonder.com so they might honor their deals this time.
Anyhow, heads up on DVDs like

ToyStory 1& 2 $20

and ALL ps2 games $25-30 bucks

Pretty good! I've not had a problem w/FamilyWonder and shipping, but I have always ordered in-stock items, I know they have a weak history with rebates and backorders. All the games are on sale, Shenmue for $25. No hardware/consoles though.

They have 41 pages of DVDs, about 400 or so titles. Oddly enough, no porn.

I bought Sound of Music VHS ($7.99) and Tony Hawk 2 PSX ($24.99) as gifts. Shipping was ~$6, but still a good deal

I got the new Zelda game for Nintento 64 for $35 before shipping. Not free, but a mite bit better than the 59.99 I'd have to pay at local stores. Also , for the kids, Chicken Run on DVD for $13.50, Pokemon Silver for $20.00, and Ms. Pac-Man Maze for Dreamcast for $20.00...PLUS another 15% off with DashBar. That covered the painful $7 shipping charge and sweetened the deal even more.

And speaking of Sound of Music, you're not going to f*#king believe this but in England it has become cult, ala Rocky Horror Picture Show, with all of it--dressing up, saying/singing along, the whole trip--in the movie theator!

Ebates also gives 15% off (find them under "babys & kids" section). Toy Story Ultimate Box (3 dvds) ends up being $29.75 before shipping. Criterion Lord of the Flies dvd (regularly $39.95) ends up being $17. They also have a few cds (Eminem, Moby, Matchbox 20, etc.) that end up being around $8.

I have ordered from them before without any problems. Granted it took about 8 weeks to get my rebate from Family Wonder, but this time they give you the discount upfront. Also the shipping is high ($3.85 plus .85 for each item) but they do send it Fedex (albeit 3 day).
