Need some help. I've got a gts pro that i was recently trying to overclock. the memory is set to 400 default, and i went up to 430 no problem...but when i went to 435, my q3A fps dropped from about 100 to 50. i rebooted with the default memory clock, and performance returned, but not quite to normal...i got a 2 fps decrease with everything set the same. this is not a big deal, but its kind of scary that it seems i've damaged the card or something. Has anybody heard or witnessed similar situations, and is there something wrong here? thanks.

I've experienced the same thing on my Geforce DDR. It was very weird as well, the card did not like too high of a memory clock. It found it best to increase the mem and core only modestly about 15% as I recall. More than a certain number would cause my fps to drop, my only guess is that when it gets to high it also gets to hot and possibly causes some errors?!?!

I know on my Annihilator Pro (GeForce DDR) I took the memory from 300 to 366 and it was fine... but anything over 380 and I would take a performance hit and get artifacts.... I took it back down and it was fine.

Yeah, I experienced that too... Freaked the hell out of me, but i did find a fix... I reset the Bios.... Something with the AGP after I overclocked it, that it didn't like... I had to restore my Bios settings, but that did the trick for me...

I've had to do it a few times since but Only when I'm toying with the overclocking more. It works fine when I set the overclock, and keep it there...
