I had to have one of my coworkers pick up lunch for me today, because I was correcting tests all morning and only had 10 minutes until students showed up for afternoon review. She was going to McD's, so I didn't have a lot of choice. I got two 4 piece mcnuggets. ($1 menu). I barely finished the 8, let alone wanting 42 more.

Just plowed through a 20 piece for lunch, delicious. I wanted more, but not 30 more....hmm. Need to find someone to split this 50 piece with next time.

First... I don't think 50 McNuggets were ever intended for consumption by a single person. We've gotten them several times for super bowl and other games. Good party junk food.

Second... I don't get the "pink goo" argument. It's still chicken, who fucking cares the form it comes it? Frankly I'm impressed it's an animal at all.

For those wondering and to hopefully make those who have eaten a 50pc feel bad:

2,350 Calrories, 1,350 of which are from fat.

150 Grams of fat.

25 Grams of saturated fat.

325 Milligrams of cholesterol.

4,500 Milligrams of sodium.

150 Grams of carbohydrates.

10 Grams of fiber.

110 Grams of protein.

$10 and you get a surplus of everything you need to keep you alive for the day and give you a heart attack as soon as your body has had enough.

That's a lot of fat and salt... I can almost hear the arteries clogging...

Actually, if you consider that 50 nuggets is a ridiculous portion, its really not all that bad. Any food eaten in that high of a quantity is going to be high in these things.
