The comments on that particular page are very harsh. Seems like alot of people were getting media errors when burning.

All rebates are a gamble -- in some cases the odds of getting the rebate are not too bad. In Cendyne's case the odds are 100% certain that you will never get the rebate. I have unfulfilled Cendyne rebates dating all the way back to 8 April 2000, and no amount of follow up ever got any rebate fulfilled. You will not get your rebate from Cendyne.

i am still waiting for $20 rebate from Cendyne. the DVD drive i bought from them can only play DVD, but not CD, CDR or CDRW.

If anybody cares, I've had no problems burning these cd's on my plextor 8/4/32a. The discs are a bit flimsy, but read just fine. No probs with audio discs either.

The $6 shipping and handling fee coupled with the gamble of the mail in rebate forces me to give this one a pass eventhough I am starting to need more CD-R's.

yeh..i have unfulfilled rebates from them for over a year.

the only real "guaranteed" rebates seem to be Staples since they send you an e-mail confirmation.

Ha, I guess I've discovered fellow members looking for deals on CD-Rs, too. Thank you for the reviews, and I too will keep looking.
