Upset city. It is obvious FL and TX are the two best teams in the country, and this is coming from a USC fan.

At least Barkley is back and is ripping it up in the 1Q.

I had a feeling PSU would go down. Cal, Ole Miss, and Florida State I didn't expect. I though Va Tech might have a chance but I didn't expect them to blow out Miami like that.

Talk about complete implosion by penn state in the 4th quarter. Another pick.

That's why you have to play a full 60 minutes. A good first quarter isn't going to cut it.

Ole Miss got lucky South Carolina could not line up properly on offense, or that game could have got ugly fast.

Especially if Tebow is out of the game.

He's lucky Eric Berry did not knock him out in the game against Tenn.

Who's to say that Berry's hit did not contribute to what happened to Tebow today? He's taking a lot of shots this year because the offense is leaning on him heavily with Percy Harvin gone. Meyer has to find a way to make the offense work without Tebow going around like a battering ram.

Ratings made no sense, PSU #5 and Iowa is not even on the list, yet they won all their games and were in top 20 last year... of course I bet they will appear on Top 25 on Monday

Well the Eric Berry hit would not have been so bad if Tebow hadn't lowered his body so low and decided to go head first into him. He needs to quit getting that low and take some hits to the pads. Those pads distribute the force of impact so players can take the big hits. Unfortunately tonight he gets a big hit by a Kentucky player(luckily to the pads), but his head goes into a knee at a high speed. It's more a freak accident tonight that he got hurt that any thing else.

The Hawkeyes were ranked in the first poll but they barely beat northern iowa so they dropped out. I bet they are ranked now 😛

Iowan at heart. I was actually in Iowa City this weekend watching the game with friends. I couldn't believe that 4th quarter. Holy freaking meltdown by PSU. I was just sitting there going "what's next...a fumble recovery" after they blocked that punt for the TD. And then they did. And then I wondered what would happen after that...an INT? And that happened.

I know some people that drove to PSU and tailgated there. Can't wait to hear back from them next week 😀

They are. I think the AP is being too generous, and the Coaches' doing it's normal thing of barely shuffling teams around.

I think they should delay the Coaches' poll until after week 6 or 7. Let the AP do its thing and speculate on teams that haven't played much. Plenty of Big Ten and Pac-10 bias in the AP poll too.

Wow, I wonder why Iowa and Michigan are getting shafted in the rankings so badly??

I'm a hardcore PSU fan, but why the hell are we still ranked above both of those big 10 teams?? We got our clocks cleaned by one, and michigan has shown more promise than we have.
