You went through 2 10 packs and what were your results? Number of coasters and what kind of data were you writing, 4.36gb movies?

if you go to the microcenter in tustin, ca, you might as well go to QTC computers up the street on edinger. it is at 1374 east edinger, north of the 55 on the left hand side. they have 1x princo for under $1 a disc and a 100 pack for $58! quality stuff too--i am burning with it right now on my brand new cendyne/pioneer A05. good stuff!

I read reviews of these dvd-r's.. http://www.dvdrhelp.com/dvdmedia..

examples of reviews:

Previous batch (5 pack in jewel cases bought at OfficeMax worked fine)..
Then bought a 10 pack spindle (also OfficeMax), and three of three that I tried produced coasters; this was with BOTH a DRU-500A (1.0g) and A05 (1.00)!!!

I burnt a DVD movie using DVD X Copy on a HP DVD+RW with my Sony DRU 500 Ul. It worked perfectly fine. Then I tried with this Khypermedia DVD-R. So far, I made four coasters trying to burn one successful DVD. I still have six left which soon may become coasters. Don't fall for the discounts and buy junk. It ain't worth it.

All coasters. Burned 4 movies, none worked, I returned them. The media was recognized as 2x and I burned them at both 1X and 2X.

DONT sound too good to me..
