5 megapixal Pentax Optio Digi Cam for less than 160$

i had an s4 which i absolutely loved...was stolen though 🙁 now i have an optio x which is nice for the twisting, but is a little larger, and a bit slower.
 
no viewfinder and apparently the LCD isn't usable in either dark or direct sunlight 🙁

otherwise i'd probably be all over it
 
i have the S4i. none of those problems with the LCD... 2+ years and still lovin it.
although i've been tempted a few times to replace it with the canon SD450/550... but didn't do so.
 
Not really a thread crap but for $10 I would go with the Panasonic one thats here in the hot deals for $170

The Pana offers not only a better picture but a 6x optical zoom and mega stab too 😀

Just look at the leaves on the tress and bushes and you can see a huge differance between the cameras as far as quality shots. Heck check out the bricks abouve the windows. You can clearly make out the brick above the windows in the Pana shot but in the Pentax one you cant make them out but look like one big miscolored blur. the one way sign is blury with the Pentax as well as many other little things. Just an obsevation as to which would be the better one between the two.

I have had the DCM FZ3, FZ20, and now the FZ5. I have also had Olympus, Minolta, cannon, vivitar, and Kodak and IMO panasonic for the price and quality shots is the best out there in the $500 and below range. But as you can clearly see in these two shots the Pana stands out as the winner.

Main difference I see is that the "One Way" sign got uprooted somehow, the cars disappeared from the lot, and the tree grew a buncha green. The grass comes out slightly blurred in both pictures. I really wouldn't say you've got a clear winner.
 
You need to zoom in or look at the pictures in actual size not fit to the screen then. Or you just dont have an eye for details 😉

the panny is a bit bigger and weighs twice as much.
