Hmm, with the names of these fast food places, I'm thinking about starting one named "Just the Tip"

In out.
5 guys is seriously overrated and also not that great.

In n Out is just decent. Better than most of the others. Not overrated at all. I'd love to find one locally.

I'm glad im not the only one who had to read the names of those places twice...maybe four times over.

None of those out here in the east.

Never been to...uhh...Five Guys. Not sure if they have a SoCal branch.

There's one in Carson and I think another in Cerritos or somewhere. Haven't been yet, but they won't beat a 4x4 from In-N-Out Protein Style. That's simply not possible.

I recently went to the Cerritos one. It was good but not as good as In n Out and way overpriced.

Never had either. Just had a bacon cheese bison burger from Ted's and it pretty much shits on all other burgers.

Poll needs more Dicks. Or is that a Seattle-only thing?

I voted in-n-out.

Dick's is awesome. Especially when you are drunk

Zips for me, but you have to be from Spokane or the surrounding area to even know what that is. Dicks is just nasty and I have avoided In and Out so far. Never heard of 5 guys...

Didn't we just have this thread? I am not one to claim repost esp if it has been a while but I thought we went over this very recently.

innout is also the very few places that almost always get me more hungry the more I eat of it till my stomach feels too painful from the stretching.

No In N Out's up in Oregon/Washington. :-(

Just made a second stop at a 5 Guys (West Linn, OR). Burgers are good and topping are good, but: the buns could be better, yellow mustard (really?), and no milk shakes!

OMGWTFWATERMELON!!!!! looks like one of the locations is near Fry's :)

I'll have to check it out the next time I am in Seattle :)

Cheers,

inNout has a more 'crisp' burger that tastes more fresh, and has better buns too, as well as the thousand island dressing. everything is just slightly higher quality/fresher.

5 Guys gives you a thicker piece of meat which kind of makes up for it, as well as many more options (A-1, mushrooms, bacon), but the buns are generic, burger wrapped in aluminum foil, and just doesn't have the distinct character or freshness to differentiate itself. As for fries, 5 Guys serves steak fries, while in n out has their own style. So while I like the fries at 5 Guys more, that is more a product of not liking InNout fries, cuz you can get fries comparable to 5 guys at any restaurant that serves that style, while InNout fries are unique.
