Never tried In N Out, but Five Guys makes pretty good fast food burgers. Their fries could use better seasoning, I have to load even their Cajun fries up with spices and salt to compensate, otherwise nothing wrong with them.

No question on this one.

I'm voting for the one that doesnt sound like a bad night after someone puts a little rohypnol in your beer, or a bad prison scene.

I haven't tried 5 Guys yet, but they did just open a restaurant in Seattle. Kind of a big step for a predominately East Coast organization.

I had 5 Guys and while it was good it was extremely overpriced for what it is. In N Out is cheaper and better.

Five Guys is opening 2 Phoenix locations, so I can't wait to try it. When I flew to DC a few months ago, they had one in the airport but I think it was too early or too late or something.

Thread title sounds like the title of a Double-Feature Porno flick.

They're all over DC, I think it started up there.

Never had In-N-Out, but Five Guys is awesome. I haven't had the "regular" fast food chains since trying them (McDonalds, Burger King, etc.).

animal style is gross, but In-N-Out burgers are cooked to God's standards so they win.

There's one in Carson and I think another in Cerritos or somewhere. Haven't been yet, but they won't beat a 4x4 from In-N-Out Protein Style. That's simply not possible.

Ate at Five Guys last weekend. I'd say they are different burgers: quality wise, I prefer In N Out, but Five Guys has a lot of variety (jalapenos, BBQ sauce, etc) and the patties are hand made (I can see the imperfections). The fries are comparable, though.
