If you are installing it, beware of the problem that triggered this promotion!

I believe the problem was that it said that CD2 or CD3 is corrupt or invalid if you install the software after 11/23/2003 or somewhere around there. Setting your clock back before install (or digging up the patch from the MS site) will also work.

have fun!

Anyone know of a program that will convert a product key to a PID??? Or how to retrieve a PID from a hard drive with Windows Server 2003 installed on it? I just spent about 4 hours last night building a PC and installing my copy on it. Now the d*mn motherboard died on me (the keyboard lights keep flashing even when it's off, and it reboots every 3 seconds)!!! I'd rather get this ordered sooner than later, since I now have to send my motherboard back to Newegg in CA, and wait for a new one to get to me in Ohio. Grrr. lol

[edit] - Nevermind - the CMOS battery was dead. Just replaced it and I'm back up and running :)

My company owns a copy I recently installed, I'm weary of entering any information into this site.

"microsoft.4-order.com"

It's just a virtual name for the domain 4-order.com - NOT microsoft.

At work we had a Microsoft rep come talk to us... apparently something is wrong with the DLL's of Sharepoint or something, so to make it up Microsoft is officially giving 5 free CALS with purchase of standard or premium for SBS. I have no idea how to get it though. Its legit.

The corupt disc is disc 3, and I just got a new one in the mail yesterday. My copy is from the Reseller freebie that many of us got because of the Windows XP Pro with the bobble head and lamp.

Hmm I have SBS2003 here in my hands right now. Currently there are 2 DVD cases and both of them have a different cd-key plastered on the back. Does anyone know how these are different? What's the first cd key for? What's the second cd-key for?

I just received SBS 2003. It has only 2 disks (one labeled "disk 1", the other "disk 2"), is this normal?

btw - it is an OEM version.
