5 days till princeton goes down!!!!

My roommate in college last semester played LAX. But um, sorry about your "mishap." (you do only have one nut, after all...)

To avoid thread pooping, go JHU!

lacrosse rules (hence my AIM sn - opLAX31) I watched the season opener for UVA this past weekend

SYRACUSE is going to take it all this year!

I'm vistiting princeton later march to see if I want to go there, I hope they are still around. If they aren't and I have to travel to NJ for nothing I'm holding you responsible.

syracuse is gonna be good...all i care about is killing princeton and those fools down at Maryland

<< Lacrosse (n.) - A sport followed by students of universities without decent football teams. >>

more like a sport just followed in the northeast.. i admit most of the schools dont have good football teams...except notre dame has become damn good at LAX...well then again i dont know if u consider after last year their school having a good football team 🙂

i grew up in a huge LAX high school and went to a huge LAX college...now i live in Cali and there is no lacrosse at all...boo...its a great spring sport

princeton will suck this year...

Maryland will be good. Johns Hopkins has a chance at going far.
Right now my vote is for Syracuse winning it all at the end of the year, UVA will be in second. Conner Gill for uva is unstoppable.

let's not forget about Cornell.. my freind there says they have some good players to watch out for this year.

mrdingledangle, which college did you go to- and did you play on the team there?

<< Wow...my friends who play it seem so tough...yet those schools you talk about doing well at it sound so gerbil :Q >>

yeah-- becuase lacrosse is an expensive sport to play-- sort of like hockey. Pads and equipment are not cheap- so the people who play it are primarily upper - middle class white guys with parents who can afford to buy all the equipment for them to get them started in the sport.

So becuase the preppy kids with money were the ones who started playing lacrosse, they then went to more expensive schools like princeton and syracuse... so those schools built up reputations as being the premire LAX schools.

that trend is starting to change now, and lacrosse is sreading to more and more schools and its moving out from the east coast. It wont be long untill its really popular everywhere.
