I am a man of my word, my word is my bond. You guys can think I'm trolling or lying, I am not.

I am not a fan of spidey but at least he did back up his big words with cold hard cash and pay up. Can't fault a guy for that. Talk is cheap.

Unlike the idiot in this thread that talked big and all , even a bet with me in another thread but wimp out and ran away like a low class punk. :D

My bet is still on, don't be shy. Are we still on, sweetie pie? ROTFLMAO.

Do you think Spidey's wife knows that her degenerate gambler husband pissed more money away on a bet made through emotion and rage rather than rational thought?

Spidey, I just talked to couple of my British friends. I don't think you would want to run into them right now. Apparently you saying they were slaves pissed them off. Seems the British actually put the fact that they would never be slaves in their National Anthem.

I will check with some of my Aussie friends and see how they feel about you calling them slaves.

Good show Spidey, you stand by your values and your word and you're not afraid to take a few knocks from a pack of cowards.

5.4% unemployment is feeling pretty fucking good.

So it's a fantastic UHC system.

How is predicting something so inaccurately that you're willing to risk your money on it "standing by your values?" I can give him credit for paying up, but not for being delusional. Standing by one's values doesn't mean letting your brain be co-opted by emotion. Dude, even YOU called Obama as the winner, and you're pretty damn biased.

If I had predicted that Obama would win the PV by 15 points and take 42 of 50 states, and bet money on that margin of victory, I'm pretty sure you'd think I was a partisan idiot rather than someone who should be credited for standing by his values.

Being wrong about an election is no big deal, saying what you believe in and standing up against some pretty overwhelming and fierce opposition is nothing to be sneered at. He said what he believed, made bets with some of his opponents and was badgered for months by others, and when he was wrong he claimed responsibility and paid up. I don't agree with Spidey on a bunch of stuff, but there's quite a few other posters in this forum I have a hell of a lot less respect for. Frankly woolfe don't you feel a little queasy when you see the pack mentality of so many posters yapping, yapping and yapping around Spidey?

Well I'll say if spidey pays up he's a stand-up guy. Most people over a decent sized wager online would just bail and shut down their account.

Actually standing up to reality is something to be sneered at.

I don't think it was so much "standing up to reality" as opposed to putting fingers in his ears and yelling loudly to try to drown out reality.

Boldness and confidence are fine attributes, but not when they are mixed with bluster and ignorance. Your track record here is, as far as I know, unblemished - you have made several political bets and lost every one of them. You're not good at this. Have you ever won a bet about an election?

Hey, wife beater is back!

How many bets are you welching on your piece of shit?

From what I've heard he paid up on his bets, he's not cybrsage.

I think we can lay off spidey for a couple of days and let him lick his wounds. I dislike the guy but I don't kick a person when they're down.

Indeed. You can call spidey a lot of things but you can't call him a coward wimp out troll that would not back up his words with cold hard cash.

Unlike this punk ass that did all the big trash talk and was willing to bet with me but wimped out like a stinking pussy coward = http://forums.anandtech.com/showpost.php?p=34154813&postcount=227

Are we still on, punk? What is the matter? :D
