I looked and didn't see this in a search here.
http://www.namebargain.com/myurl is offering $5.99 domain registration until Friday the 23rd. This outfit seems to be part of register.com. It appears to be designed for self-serve off the Website without any claims to much customer service.
They promise their self service domain configuration will be up shortly and I imagine it will be. $5.99 is not bad with register.com DNS servers included. The $8.00 domain registration at Bargaindomains is only if you supply your own name servers I believe. If not, they tack on another $2.00 to use theirs. Still not bad.
If you do need DNS, I have been using http://CentralInfo.netmyurl free DNS service with good results.
Unfortunately, there are not to many desirable domain names left. That is probably why it is so cheap, if not free. I bet these outfits are counting on raising their renewal fees next year. Has anybody come up with a good solution for cheap renewals?
Regards,
OldSailor,
Ps, I am keeping the Free Film processing, prints and camera pages updated at http://dd950.tripod.com/free_film_processing.htmmyurl if you don't have a lifetime supply yet.
Thanks for all the Hot Deals
