5.8GHz Phone FAR @ BB B&M

I can't believe they even make cordless phones w/o callerID anymore. 🙂 Good for spare I guess.

Correct me if I am wrong here. You can buy this in the store, correct? On-line add says nothing of In store rebates or MIRs
That's what B&M only means...

Where are you located? There was no BB ad in yesterday's newspaper for me in Tallahassee. 🙁

Washington, DC area. It was in the back of the Business section of The Washington Post.

Ad also listed a $600 eMachines notebook (2800+ Sempron, 512MB, 60GB, DVD/CD-RW combo, 15.4" widescreen) and a $450 Insignia desktop (2.8GHz P4, 512MB, 60GB, DVD/CD-RW combo, media reader, 17" flat tube). After rebate(s), of course.

Brick and mortar *smacks head* Thought that was the brand for some reason even though I followed the link. Feal free to flame me.

This deal now has 100% more CONFIRMAGE! I ran over to my local Best Buy and sure enough, there's not even a price tag on the shelf, but it rang up $30 + tax minus a $30 MIR. Run, don't walk, to your nearest BB B&M and get this! (no guarantees that it isn't a bad phone, though 🙂)

Well, if you can't even spell "feel" correctly...

😉 Cheers.

I think it's safe to say the phone looks like garbage. As someone else said, it doesn't even have Caller ID. This phone can't be any good. You get what you pay for.

A warning to all - I got this phone during the BF sale -

The quality is absolutely atrocious; I wound up returning the thing!

No offense, OP - we appreciate good deals...but this..well.....just...isn't..... 😉

I purchased this phone on 12/24/04 and returned it on 12/27/04. I didn't even get to use it at all. I charged it the whole day and when I tried to use it, it gave me the "LOW BATTERY" warning. When I was returning it, the CSR said other's have return this phone for the same reason.

uD

Sorry this turned out not to be such a hot deal. I never got a phone (OOS at my BB) so I couldn't confirm its worthiness. 🙂

I bought one. It works i guess. I got the Replacement plan for $8. So I will get replacement phones that cost $30 for two years. I guess i can just wait for the rebate, go in and say its broken, and then get a better one for $30. Or maybe I can use that $30 as credit toward a even more expensive one. How fun?
