Yep gotta LOVE NoVA traffic. Thank god I ride VRE. *evil grin* Although it was 40 minutes late yesterday getting me home, but at least I wasn't sitting in traffic.

I've been in traffic (going to California Raceway to watch a race) where people got out and started to walk, then were told to turn around and walk BACK to thier cars by a cop.

During hurricane Rita it took me 14 hours to go 28 miles on I-10 in Houston

ouch man that sucks. lucky for me I go from silver spring (right at GA Ave. onto 495) up to columbia on 95, AGAINST traffic. The other side of the beltway, all 20 or so miles, is like a parking lot. I make my 23 mile commute to work in about 20 minutes

lucky you... i think i am gonna look into backroads... or maybe leave at 7, traffic may be a lil better...
