Only one 1 ghz or one 1.2 ghz core though, and a 533 fsb.

It's still good news for really power concious users. Word processing on the move doesn't really require a dual core 2 GHz chip.

The 1st offering, Gateway E-100M, will be pricey though@$1399, the optical drive and bluetooth will cost you another $250, and then you need to spring for the 8hr battery, how much for that, and how much weight does it add? the standard battery doesn't even get you 3hrs? I'm not impressed, hopefully Dell, HP, or another will have a better alternative using these new ULV CPUs.

Could be nice for super low FF and quiet SFF PC's and media centres. (Assuming hardware encoders)
