I use 2.0, yes that's right, straight stereo. My mains are flat at 90db down to 35hz, and 88db to 30hz. For music only 😀

My HT is a 5.1, i don't even care abotu the measurements, because it's an Onkyo HTIB and sounds "good enough" for now.

In a large room > than 20' x 30' ok, but anything smaller than that and I think it's
just ego gratification.

I have enough speakers for something like 9.1 and a reciever for 5.1 but I only use 2.0 because my two mains severely outclass the rest of the system.

I jsut decided that since my mains bottom out at ~35-45 hz, they needed extra help, so I run my maisn down to 45 and my sub below that.

I sounds scrumptious.

Rhapsody in Blue is FANTASTIC on this thing.


Sadly, I hate all the matrixed surround modes out there and have never had the pleasure if hearing HK's logic 7 in action..I hear it is delicious.

I have an Athena Sub I got for a bargain...doesn't live up to my mains but it still kicks ass..😀
