want to get 5.1 headphones for gaming. I currently use the alc850 onboard sound. Also have a audigy sound card (not installed). How can I utilize the both the onboard and audigy card for speakers + headphones without rebooting constantly?

 
Well, if you go to the control pannel you can change the sound device to be used, I don't think I've ever had 2 sound cards so I don't know if you have to reboot when you switch it there.
