5.1 headphones with microphone

I was really into CS before i went to uni, and now CS source is coming, and i have Broadband again, i want to get some gaming headphones. trouble is, i want 5.1 sound AND a microphone. I cant seem to find one any where, and i dont want a seperate stalk style mic. any suggestions pls?

5.1 headphones are a gimmick. Good normal headphones can position sound perfectly. Try the sein pc-150's at ecost.

SpeedLink Medusa 5.1 headphones. They are phenominal from what I hear. They are pretty tough to find in the states though. They pack some mega sound. 3 speakers plus one tiny subwoofer in each ear I believe. Either way though, most high quality closed headphones will give you really good immersive sound. Personally I think the medusa's will be that extra kick though.

Any headphones with two speakers cannot position sound. I have the Zalman 5.1 headphones, and the sound is totally different.

As far as not wanting a desktop mic....why? Its just sitting there on your desk not hurting anything.

i dont see what a tiny subwoofer would do, its not large enough to produce the low-frequency sounds.

since you're a cs fan, i would like to tell you that no "pro" cs player uses those silly 5 speaker headphones. Most use Sennheisers, or Plantronics.
