5.1, 6.1, but 7.1 speakers???

I understand 5.1 is sub, 2 front, 2 rear, and 1 center, 6.1 is sub, 2 front, 2 rear, 1 front center, 1 rear center...But what is 7.1?? And correct me if i got 6.1 incorrect...

Y'all have to consider that surround satelites are rather small. If you're trying to setup a surround system on a desk, then your hooped, but mounting them on walls will allow lots of room.

Nah not really - it's all about realistic sound, nothing wrong with 7 speakers. Now when they unleash 37.4 upon us, then it's gonna be a little ridiculous...
