This thread reminds me of my mom, who wanted to move her 5 1/4" floppy to her new box. I lied and told her it didn't work anymore.
She was a little bummed she would no longer be able to read those old floppies she had... I was thinking of how often she used "Wordstar" or played Commander Keen and King's Quest (the original).
In reality it probably doesn't work anymore, the drive hadn't been used in like 5 years, and it was FULL of dust. Kinda funny because the next time I upgraded the 3 1/2" floppy WAS broken and she was like "eh, I don't need a floppy anymore, it's alright"
