I wouldn't classify myself as a Christian by any standard, but I'll be damned if that background on their homepage doesn't scream sacriligious!! (Her posing with the Bible)

Here's the link for the 700 Club video (and others)

5-2-2006 Holy Hotties appear on 700 Club

LOS ANGELES - Heather Veitch, a tall, shapely blonde, made a career out of baring it all at strip clubs. Now when she walks in a club, it is just to deliver her naked truth about God.

"If you are a Christian, see us in ACTION," she says in a faith-based tease on her website, www.JCsgirls.com, geared toward women in the sex industry as well as men who turn to it.

Last month she was introduced on evangelist Pat Robertson's "The 700 Club" as a "holy hottie."

For three years, she has been a preacher for the non-denominational Christian church JC Girls Girls Girls. The "JC" stands for Jesus Christ, and the "Girls" for the three women who are its main evangelists: Veitch, Lori Albee -- also a former stripper -- and Tanya Huerter, a schoolteacher.

Their church in Riverside, about 200 kilometers (125 miles) from Los Angeles, is a sedate setup compared with the elaborate services they hold in Las Vegas and their pink-and-glossy website. And they are generating a flock: They now have about 2,100 members.

Leaders of the California Southern Baptist Convention -- with which JC's Girls Girls Girls' home church is associated -- support the ministry but admit that the website may not appeal to church members.

I bet they love the vote too.

I have no doubt they are getting money from Bush's "faith based initiatiave" somehow.

Can anyone look into if they are getting Federal money???

Thanks

yeah, how dare this woman abandon the sex industry in pursuit of growing in a relationship with God? howd are she "empower herself" spiritually rather than secularly. That's bad enough... But to start a ministry of encouraging other women to leave the industry? How dare she!

"Can anyone look into if they are getting Federal money???"

Answer: No Federal money.

HOWEVER, happy to report that my church was reimbursed with federal funds this year though, from our Katrina Relief efforts, driving to and from New Orleans and and Miss. Gulf. We were reimbursed by the Govt. for mileage... Church reimbursed all the folks who drove their cars, and then the govt. reimbursed the church. projects included: cleanup, dry-wall, roofing, feeding, and (gasp) evangelism, telling hurting folks that God still sits on his throne, he still cares for them, and wants a relationship with them...

Actually, because we hate ourselves we really hate it when somebody else, anybody else at all, shows signs of spiritual evolution. You go girl!

This takes two principle forms, as I see it. We try to humiliate the person themselves, to bring them back to the level we feel we are at emotionally, and we poo poo the particular form of advance the person makes, ie, contend that the person is delusional. Naturally, since we proceed to evolve in steps, there is always some room for accurate criticism of both, but neither occur when one's own heart is right.

We have a choice to mock or support each other the minute we become conscious of how our self hate drives us. What is your choice?

Bring back that "face based initiative".

We certainly would be a...head of the game, rather have that mess than the mess we are in anyday.

Since you have been paid for all your good works, you should refrain from mentioning them. For you to crow about your "GOOD WORKS" shows youur hypocrisy.

Scamming the Johns for Jesus - what an insult.
There is never a shortage of shills that will fall for the 'God wants you to give it to me' game.

Remember 'Reverend Ike' ? God want's me to drive a Mercades and a Cadilike, so "if you like God"
send me his 'Love Donation' so I can be be driving the car that God want's me to Bless his Flock from . . .

HAHAHA! No, no, and no. 51% of America is not evangelical and even the most conservative Republicans are sick of Bush right now. Keep shadowboxing though. It's amusing to watch. And after the far left blows what should be the easiest elections ever this year, the moderates will re-take control of the Democratic party.

No, but just about every Republican is a Christian, but there are a few misguided atheists and other types of religionists in there, too.

I think the idiots in the Democratic party already blew their wad on John Kerry...its the Republicans who aren't done quite yet.

While the U.S. works to stop sex execpt for making kids for votes, here is a Country that just plain wants kids bad:

5-2-2006 Japan mulls matchmaking ads to boost birth rate

Alarmed by a falling birth rate and rapidly aging population, Japanese policymakers are thinking about allowing TV ads for matchmaking agencies in the hope that an increase in couples will result in more kids.

An official at the Trade Ministry said Tuesday that the ministry is considering allowing advertisements for matchmaking agencies to be shown on television, which is currently forbidden.

Experts argued, however, that more fundamental changes are needed, citing recent surveys showing that most Japanese think it is difficult to raise children in their nation.

No specific reasons were given but the cost of child raising, a lack of child care facilities, and attitudes that make it hard for women to return to work after taking time off to raise children, are frequently cited to explain the falling birth rate.

Your naive black-and-white worldview would be amusing to me if it wasn't so hate-filled and prejudicial.

700 club LOL - I think this fits under the "once a whore always a whore" catagory.

I bet they keep Timothy 1 and 2 far far away from these girls
