yup, like every one else im upgrading 2 rigs at the worst time😕

seeing im doing both, i can t swing the $300- 9800 pro🙁

so the nforce 2 board needs to be ready for H/L-2 and the

the other im thinking a gf4-ti4200, my real question is there a big

boost from 4x to 8x or is it all hype,

thanks folks

I don't think I even see any difference from my Geforce2 GTS 4X and
now the Radeon 9700 pro 8X

if it is just the AGP BUS speed you are looking at boosting.. then I don't think its worth the upgrade at all.
Look forward to the RAM and Core speed. Or even better AA and AF quality 😉

This question has been hashed and rehashed. There is basically NO increase with 8x, maybe 1%. Definitely not worth it

THANKS BUD,

i was just wondering if it was noticable, i too can t tell the

difference between my elsa-gladiac gts and my gf3 ti-500

they both play games the same with a lil faster frames with the 500

MY CURRENT RIG--soltek frn2 2100+@ 2.2

512 ddr 3200 and vid card ?????

I'm pretty sure u would be able to tell the difference between the elsa gladiac gts/gf3 ti-500 and the current generations of 9700/9800 cards, due to the fact that you can now run stuff with 16AF/6AA now?

im sure i would, but im being stupid and setting this up

a lil before the next gen of games come out--a fool and his money
