From what I've heard you can cure the inherent problems of the latest J-Micron based MLC drives for a cost. A decent hardware raid card w/cache can supposedly fix stuttering and performance(or lack of) on these drives. Actually I've only seen it confirmed on Core V2's so far but I guess I'll find out.
I'm gonna keep the Vraptors just in case the v2's still have issues even with the raid card. If all else fails I'll have a decent card to throw the raptors on and the ocz's will take a trip to ebay.
I'd love to pick up a couple of X25-M's but the price is way to high right now.
I should have my new system up and running Tuesday night after work.
