But I hear Samsung has better UHD upscaling processor? Did you choose Vizio for better motion rate?
Vizio. Local dimming versus no local dimming? No contest.
Both Samsungs also have 60hz real refresh rate vs the Vizio's 120 hz real refresh rate. Vizio wins again.
Edit: Not biased towards either brand, as I own a Sony Bravia 4K 65" TV myself.
Local dimming, is that something to do with full backlit vs edge backlit?
Also, I have read that vizio has some dead pixel/smudge issue... Anyone here have any experience with that?
Who is the Sony work out for you? How long have you had it? What was the price? Any regrets?
I have an LG 1080p OLED TV.
Best TV I have ever owned or seen - and its NOT 4K.
Yeah well, I want to go 4k as now TVs are coming with HDMI 2.0 and movies are coming out in UHD and so on... 4k is getting there... And LG 4k OLED is 5000+, so it's basically out of question
Idk man, I seen 65" 1080p and 4k side by side from Sony Samsung and vizio at bestbuy, difference in the upscaled hd programming is noticible.
But as you mentioned, it's a personal preference and I do want to pat myself on the back... So, that's that...
, buying TV is not for the faint of heart...
65" Sony XBR-65X810C 120Hz 4K Ultra HD Smart LED HDTV on sale for $1199.99 was Ebay deal of the day yesterday. Deal is dead now but will probably return. For more than $500 savings (no tax/free shipping) this is the deal I would look for.
