I wouldn't put too much stock in SuperPi. SuperPi almost always runs faster on the Intel stuff. I'm pretty sure a Pentium M would beat an Athlon 64 dual core in SuperPi, but we all know which one was actually considered faster. I don't know why it runs slow on the AMD chips, but it always has.
