It has a hole for a tether at least, which would prevent me from losing it. I've always kept my USB sticks on my keys as I always have my keys on me and know where they are, so now I already have my USB stick on me and know where it is.

Thanks OP, it's all sold out for now but I've been looking for something like this.

I have a bunch of stuff needs a USB drive attached to boot (XBMC, Plugboxed dockstar, Verizon lemonade router) and I've been looking for a smaller thumb drive that doesn't stick out as much as the ones I have now. All the other mini ones I've come across are just flat, not short.

Why would it be slow? It's smaller than most drives so the data has a much shorter distance to travel to get stored. It's science.
