4GB SD card problem

i have an A-DATA 4GB Turbo SD flash card. it works great with my Dell AXIM X51v

but, if i put it into my reader in my Desktop, windows recognizes the card as an unformated 1GB one.

my reader is MITSUMI Black 1.44MB 3.5" Internal 8 in 1 Floppy Drive USB 2.0
my system is Windows XP PRO x64

My guess would be that your PC card reader cannot read cards larger than 1GB. If you have the exact model number of the card reader you can do a Google search for it to find out the exact specifications.
