nice...but physically only 4GB.

damn, 4GB for real on a single card would be really nice..................

To actually be able to use 4GB of VRAM, I'm guessing you'd need like a 1024-bit memory bus (768MB uses 384bit... 2:1 MB:bus width)... so 4GB would need a 2048-bit memory bus, using that thought process using todays technology. Video RAM isnt the "end all of end alls" in purchasing a video card. Would you buy a 8800GTR if it had 2GB of GDDR2 on a 64-bit bus? Like lambs to the slaughter.

Yeah.....and they're wrong... 2900XT's have two power connectors on the *top* of the card.

Those cards shown have *one* connector, that is at the back of the card.

If it was 4 2900XT's that'd be quite the power hog.

Yeah I didn't see the nuclear reactor required to power them in the picture either :)

4 3870's would be crazily powerful... I'd be happy with just two!
