Only about 10 more days till rebate expiration...
Nope, the rebate has been changed to the end of October, so we have 40 days to wait to see if it will drop to $15. Hopefully there will also be a great deal on a graphic card, and a drop in the price of CPUs.

Hmmm...hope HP doesn't run out of Crucial RAMs. These are single-sided sticks, so compatibility should be excellent, even with four sticks in use.

Noobie question about the timing of the D9 chip. I just got two of these and two OCZ PC2-6400 4-4-4-15 1Gb chips. If I want to these four together, what would be the best timing settings that take best use of these chips?
Thanks.

Should i be alarmed that when i'm on the HP website looking at status nothing shows up. 8/6/07 was went i sent mines in on.

Nope, don't worry. I got my rebate check in between 3-4 weeks after submission, and never saw anything appear on that site as far as my rebate went.

I got my check a few weeks ago in case anyone was wondering. This has been a super awesome deal.

DDR2 spot prices have hit an all-time low per the last email I got from DRAMExchange.com , so I would expect the prices on these modules to start coming down into the teens (after MIR) again before too long...

Last week the DRAM spot price was in an evident decline, where the average drop for the DDR2 exceeded 10%. DDR2 512Mb 667MHz dipped to USD1.67, while the DDR2 512Mb eTT slid to USD 1.32. Due to the weak spot market demand, it has spurred many retailers and module houses to sell the DRAM chips at lower prices, resulting in the DDR2 eTT price to fall through May's low of USD 1.32.

My rebate was denied because they claim I didn't include the UPC codes. I still have the boxes and the UPC codes are cut out but of course I didn't make photocopies. I remember having to get my serial #s off of the sticks of RAM themselves. Does this mean all of the UPC codes are exactly the same? I don't remember the stickers on the boxes actually having the serial #s on them. Anyone have photocopies they can check? Thanks.

You need to include the entire white label that includes the part number and two UPC codes.

The previous thread regarding this indicated that a CSR said the serial numbers were in regards to drives, not the memory.

So all the labels are the same? They said they just needed a photocopy because my serial #s were fine. If the labels are the same I'm hoping I can get a copy of it from someone without having to order more RAM >< Thanks!

so now its starting to slowly worry me.. site shows nothing on my status. mailed in 8/6/07 and a couple of you guys got yours.. i think the rebate stated 4-8 weeks or so. i'm nearing 7 weeks now.. hope it comes in the mail....

T2urtle, don't worry, it will come. Mine came in just over 8 weeks so I wouldn't expect it any earlier than that.

The sticks are back in stock @ PCSuperStore for $9.95AR

I ordered mine @ 9.95 X 4 with free shipping.

Now do I send in the rebate with the packing slip ? or do I print one out from the website order confirmation and mail that in with the rebate.
This is for PCSuperSore

I've ordered back in June with GCO and received the rebate in August. I just ordered another 5 w/ GCO and got them in on friday.
