that depends on how much u sell the 4gb microdrive for. a search on ebay shows $300-$350 for ended auctions. $50 can get u a 256MB CF. add another $50 and get a 512MB CF. not sure how much 1GB CF goes for.

Heh but then it comes down to, would you rather have a 512mb mp3 player for $100 or a 4gb mp3 player for $200? :)

For any of you inventors out there, the real winner is going to be the guy
who puts one of the 1" 4GB microdrives into a WAV recorder (like the Nomad
JB3, but MUCH MUCH smaller) so that bootleggers can use them for recording
concerts. Something that is so stealth and perfect digital quality with easy
transfer to desktop PC for editing can get rich.

leonc: nah...i dont like bootlegs of concerts that are "off air". I much preferred ones that are direct lines and mastered by the companies.
