From what I read about Ready boost is that it helps if you have a marginal amount of ram, otherwise it does not help. I was interested in getting a drive to try Ready Boost (well, I need another flash drive anyway) So I got this one if it turns out not to work with Ready Boost that is Ok for me. I just needed the storage.

For those that care this drive does work with Ready Boost. I have 2 gigs of ram on my lappy and when I use this drive for Ready Boost I can not tell the difference, but my lappy will use it.
