Cutler: 2 interceptions in 4 passes. It's time for 3 in 5...

ALMOST!

I love how little the average person knows about football. That second int is on Cutler right? Idiots

Cutler reminds me of Jake Plummer - mindless gunslingers

Cutler seems more pouty, buy yea they have the same style. Cutler isn't the type of QB who makes his receivers better, he is one who looks better when he has good receivers that make plays on poorly thrown/desperation passes.

Never said it was his fault. But plenty of QB's get INT's on their stat sheet for interceptions that aren't their fault (and I think it's stupid, sometimes a tipped pass has nothing to do with the throw).

I just didn't realize Cutler had thrown so many to have passed Delhomme on total interceptions.

Being a gunslinger can be good at times, such as when you're on the run and need to improvise. It's unnerving for the fans and probably the coaches but man is it fun to watch. I don't blame Cutler for the second pick but it doesn't change my impression of him as a gunslinger.

Which is why using the INT as an argument is stupid...> half of his picks are on the receivers and a good chunk of the others are on Turner

I never argued about anything... you're the one claiming that I know nothing of football based on a comment I made about Cutler having more INT's than Delhomme. In no way was I trying to say Delhomme is a better QB.

You're the one talking shit about me not knowing anything because I made a comment about Cutler's loose style and that he is sometimes reckless with the ball. It can be useful but in general it does not make it easier on his teammates, thus forcing them to make plays. Just look at QB's like Manning, Brady, Brees, Marino, they made/make it easier on their teams by making smart accurate throws, helping their receivers by making safe throws and putting the ball in great spots. To me being a "gunslinger" and being reckless with the ball isn't the best thing for a team or a player.

Good as Gould! At least we have some points on the board for that sorry excuse for a first half.

That was what led me to my post. That tells me you don't (at the very least) know anything about Cutler, the Bears or the Bronco's situations. The bears have 0 stud/reliable receivers and he has made ALL of the them better than they ever could have been on their own. How are Marshall/Royal doing when the game is on the line with Orton?

And when your defense can't stop a high school team and you have a top 3 worst offensive coordinator...the QB has to force shit

Which team is more desperate for a win? Jay Cutler will always be a gun slinger, as he was in Denver. With the current state of the Bears defense, he's going to make more desperate throws to keep up with the opponent.

Cutler should get Hester on a bubble screen, get him one block and let him work his magic.

next week though. Not against the Niner's please.

I agree, for reasons out of his control, he is going to struggle the rest of the season unless some big changes are made. The defense is absolutely pathetic at times, and without some experienced talent at WR he is going to have to take more risks than necessary. His game and stats will suffer, but hopefully fans will realize it isn't all his fault. Chicago fans are quick to jump on the QB when times get rough.

hahahahah. Never in a million years will that happen. I wouldn't be at all surprised if Chicago "fans" end up running him out of town

Yeah, unfortunately it is already happening. I hear the idiots call in every day on Chicago AM sports radio. The hosts are smart enough to know what is really happening with the team, but the fans already want to crucify Cutler.
