I agree with you on this. Of all my friends who are self proclaimed republicans not a single one has talked about ACORN stealing the election. If truely 49% of the GOP electorate believe this. I would think at least one of my friends would have mentioned it. This comes off a good example of push polling to me.

I read a response to this that made a lot of sense to me, that people in polls like this frequently use them to express their displeasure with the administration, not state a fact. This was basically a proxy for them saying 'fuck you Obama'. (well, for at least a bunch of them. I'm sure there are some idiots out there who really think ACORN stole it)

The number of people I had knocking on my door to vote for Obama was pretty surprising to be honest. I had no less than 10 different groups do it this year, 5 of which came by on Nov 5th. Past elections I never had people do that [ever], if a stranger knocked on my door to talk to me about a topic it was almost always either a Mormon pusher or Jehovah's witness.

The people doing the knocking were always black folks aswell, the thought that Obama is the black Messiah really does seem to hold true when his fanatics came out of the woodwork last election.

The Republicans really had little chance, outside of Mormons i cant see white people being motivated by ROMNEY to go around town knocking on doors to vote for their man. And I say "their" man because its how they see it [the Obama door knockers]...

Despite your low opinion of black people your people had a way. Since GOP superpacs raised far more money then Dems motivate those white people the way rich folks always handle it, pay em!!

You guys couldn't think of that????

These are probably the same people who also believe that Obama was born in Kenya and that the State of Hawaii produced a counterfeit birth certificate.

Romney threw away the election by being completely out of touch with reality and the people.

What was also interesting is that the election was called in Fla just after 8PM EST before the polls closed i the panhandle; Many people in the Central Time zone of the panhandle did not bother going to the polls after it was announced.

We would have won even if President Obama lost Florida which he didn't do it's a mute point.

This report is actually good news. Let the Republicans and the Republican base believe that the public supports them but that the election was stolen. Maybe next time they could make Rick "Butt-goo" Santorum the candidate or perhaps nominate the Dingbat (Sarah Palin) or the Moron (Michelle Bachman). I hope they go full Tea Party for the next election and for all those to come. We should encourage them to continue to believe that they are winning elections but that they're being "stolen".
