49 Percent Of GOP Believe Obama’s Re-election Was Stolen

http://www.publicpolicypolling.com/main/2012/12/republicans-not-handling-election-results-well.html

49% of GOP voters nationally say they think that ACORN stole the election for President Obama. We found that 52% of Republicans thought that ACORN stole the 2008 election for Obama, so this is a modest decline, but perhaps smaller than might have been expected given that ACORN doesn't exist anymore.

ACORN may be dead, but there are many similar groups out there still stealing elections by motivating people to vote.

The majority of the voting public on both sides are massively ignorant and would be best leaving their opinions at home on voting day.

"stealing elections by motivating people to vote"

How does that work exactly?

Does that mean the republicans also steal elections by getting people to vote as well? I always thought you stole elections through stuff like voter fraud, not just getting voters out to the polls. If that is the new definition of stealing elections we are screwed.

If this doesn't tell you that the GOP's base lives in an alternate reality then I don't know what would. ;)

What it really tells you is they stopped paying attention to the political discourse in this country and, like their heroes on Fox, have instead just continuously espoused the corporate mission statement of the right.

They have to be loading the question to get those kinds of numbers. Ask any random noob on the street "Do you think ACORN stole the election for Obama?" and 50% of "Republicans" answering will say yes even though they have never even heard of ACORN. They don't want to look stupid by saying they have never heard of ACORN or don't know what it is.

So you are saying Carl Rove and Dick Morris are being ostracized by Fox for no reason at all?

GOP is out of touch with reality.

No, no, no; it is reality that is out of touch with the GOP.

If reality can't get its act together before the next election, the GOP may be forced to drop it from its platform entirely..

I wonder how many Democrats think Bush stole the election in 2000 or 2004?

Having your brother in charge in the deciding state, where there was an odd problem with the vote count, is a world of difference from a non-existent voting PR firm being blamed. Only in your idiot bubble would you even compare the two.

I agree with you on this. Of all my friends who are self proclaimed republicans not a single one has talked about ACORN stealing the election. If truely 49% of the GOP electorate believe this. I would think at least one of my friends would have mentioned it. This comes off a good example of push polling to me.

They don't need help to be stupid. You can thank the CEC for keeping their ignorant base ignorant

I don't think it was stolen, but it doesn't really matter considering that they were nearly equally hated by the public.

Only 60% of eligible voters voters voted, so about 70% of eligible voters didn't even consent to being governed by Obama... that's not what I call consent of the governed if such thing really exists. I don't think consent of the governed exists, because in a Republic legislation can pass with less than 1 percent consent of the governed.

Well to be fair when in Ohio more people voted than were registered . Things don't look on the up and up . Or voting machines automaticly reverting back to obama votes as the baseline. These are proven facts . We had 1 voter try to commit voter fraud . and the LAW allowed it . Its in the news papers around here and the local news. We even had a petition with 65% of the people in our village stating he lives in another town which he was registered in . There can be no voter fraud it doesn't exist if you ignor it unlawfully. I took it a bit further and discovered the ass wipe voted in his real home city . His name is on the sheet in his handwriting . I sent everthing to the RNC so we see if the law is really interested in stopping voter fraud

You have to view the website through the "true reality" not your altered reality.

Sounds to me like you would be one of those Democrats that believe Bush stole the election in 2000.
