seems like this would be great to go with those s100s and s10s and s20s canons , as well as nikon coolpix 800s everyone has been buying. I have no bought the 16mb and 48mb cards from them, and already have an 8mb, i guess i'll have to fleabay some of them

I hate to burst your bubble but I received this and it is not in a retail package (no upc) therefore no rebate.

Search other threads on this deal which was posted a week or so ago and you will see other unhappy campers.

Also, the model number is not the same as listed on their page. You will be getting the 235 model which is 4x and not 8x.

All in all it's still a good price for 48mb with reader. It doesn't look like it is used/refurbished (no scratches), just no box.

OH well, its still a pretty decent deal, especially with no rebate $45 isn't bad compared to the $38 it was at computers4sure after a rebate. Does anyone know if the 16mb card has a box either? I bought both. Anyways, the model is for the 4x version, and the rebate is for the 4x version, hopefully it comes in a box damn.

yeah ur right hans, i had purchased a 48mb card from work about 2 months ago for about a hundred bucks. So this is a still a pretty good deal...i ordered the 48mb version, hopefully i get lucky and get a box too.

I ordered the 48 from Overstock and did not get the box. I also ordered the 16 and 48 from Computers4sure and the 16 has come with the box, regular retail but have not received the 48 yet. I am a little PO'd about the boxless CF card.

I also got the Computers4sure 48mb last week and it did come with the box (I already sent in rebate).
However, I thought I saw the same ad at Comp4sure a couple of days ago that said "reformatted". That sounds like the same deal I got at overstock without box?

hmm the only thing i could find was a conair (search) razor for about 7-8 bucks.

but yeah a 3-5 dollar item would be oodles better.
