4870 IceQ4+ vs stock 4890 cooling

I'm looking at upgrading to either a 4870 or a 4890. The performance differences between the cards is so slight that with my specs and resolution they will be irrelevant. What I'm interested in is the cooling differences.

This is the 4870 I'm looking at, HIS IceQ4+

I've heard that the 4890 has a better stock cooling system. So would I be better off getting that 4870 (or comparable one with a built-in aftermarket cooler) or a stock 4890? Is the 4890 cooling that much better?

Better as in better temps? or better as in quieter? i don't know which is better, but they both look like they have the same, if not just very similar, cooling solutions.
