I have a shot at a 4850x2 2gb for 120$ delivered to my door and sell my current great overclocking 5750 for 110$.
I could take the money from the 5750 and trifire the 4850x2 with a 4850 1gb?
Or just spend the money and grab a 5770 to crossfire with my overclocked 5750 to get 5870 performance.
Do I keep my hardware current or step back to the 48xx series and trifire?
How does tri-fired 4850's scale? Last I check it was not so good.
What about driver support?
So in short buy the 4850x2 2gb and a 4850 1gb for about 120$ net, after the sale of my 5750.
OR
Just spend about 140$ on a 5770 and crossfire it with my overclocked 5750?
Thanks
