I'm looking at getting a 4850, and now I just have to decide which third party to buy it from. Buying from newegg, the Asus costs $160 with rebate. The Visiontek costs about $175 with shipping and rebate.
The thing I'm concerned about is the warranty. I know Visiontek has a lifetime warranty (how effective that will be, I'm not sure) and I think Asus has a 3 year warranty on their cards.
So, any advice on which to choose? Visiontek or Asus?
