Hello

Recently my nivida card stopped working. I ordered a XFX radeon 4850 XXX and could not power it. After replacing it with a coolermaster power supply, I could now power it. However while the card is powered now (led on, fan on), when the machine is turned on, nothing is transmitted to the monitor. I can hear the system booting but nothing reaches the monitor from either DVI output. I've tried my other PCI slot and it doesn't work. I've tried the radeon in a friend's (much older) machine and it does work. I've tried my damaged nvidia card back in my machine and that works, albeit with the original corrupted display. I've tried the damaged nvidia card in a friend's machine and it remained corrupted but functional. I've tried a 8800 GT and that worked.

Any ideas guys? Failing to get this card to work, what should I replace it with? Pref. Nvidia
(Can't fit a 9800 gtx+, was thinking 9800 gt, but 1gb or 512mb?).
