Just a quicky, I've got mine running via TRIXX at 600/600, and it's all good.

Will do some more when I have the time to figure out ATITool :D

so far, all looks good!

ATITool doesn't seem to be setting the clock, no clues as to what I'm missing here. Any pointers?

The "set clock" button. Btw, what kind of overclocks do you get with the Venice & Sapphire motherboard?

Not tried CPU o/cs yet, only just diagnosed my RAM problem :D

Got the beta 0.25 ATITool, and that's working perfectly.

I'm in the process of writing a review on the sapphire board though, so gimme a day or two to cook that up and I might expand some O/C info too, I'm not sure what to expect really, the Gruber is supposed to be the O/C board, so we'll see :D

Okay, my RAM, 512 due to some problems is bottlenecking the card. the core is at 604 with no errors, the memory gets to about 523/524 and then artifacts show up.

Will resolve the RAM problem and try it again, so far so good though :D

It might I heard something about that somewhere, it does come with a X850XT cooler however.

The Fireblade edition has that loud dual-slot cooler of the X850XT but lacks the auxiliary PCI-E power connecter, meaning it won't unlock to X850XT . . .

I have the GTO2, and I noticed it clocks much farther at 12pipes than 16pipes.

At the stock 12pipes my best overclock was 590 core 635 mem (3dmark05 5870)

After unlocking to 16pipes my best o/c is 542 core 595 mem (3dmark05 6360)

Either way it's a monster card for $200:)

This makes sense to me--you can only overclock it as fast as the slowest pipeline will overclock. The more pipelines, greater chance of having one that's relatively slow, I guess.

thx Sharigan for some hard evidence. May be worth it 2 just oc it like whippersnapper said and use the x850 cooler it has since it runs so hot.

the firblade is 180 US

I got a VGA silencer 5 for the card and it over clocked to 635Mhz Core & 620Mhz ram ^_^ I would like to see a X850Pro PCI-E do that !!!?. I only run it at 600/600 I?m scared of killing it

^_^ i upgraded to this from a 6800Ultra AGP hmmm its a temp card untill i get something better... hehe

Very nice speeds :D
It looks like all of these cards easily clock past 600/600.
Btw, how do you like the silencer 5?
