Here's your quick guide to limits for last minute cramming-
Elementary school: what are tests??
Middle school: period before
High school: Night to period before
College: Day to Night before (but ALL night)
Grad school: Week before (yet i've found even this is pushing it)

Hmm I don't even remember taking precalc, i remember taking calculus 1 in h.s. though...it's really easy actually.

Simple steps to getting a good grade:

-read chapter (*UNDERSTAND EXAMPLES*)
-do assigned hw for that chapter
-check answer, if you don't understand why it was wrong FIGURE IT OUT
-move to next chapter
-after done with the last chapter, just do all hw assignments again to confirm that you know how to do these problems

This will save you time from learning crap that the professor deemed unnecessary, plus most professors base exams solely off homework. I can't count how many times I saw the same friggin question, maybe with a slight variation, on an exam.

Seriously, I'm still astounded that you're worried for a precalc test. You're probably just that type of guy, right? It could be a spelling test and you'd still be worried about it.

I only worry for exams on subjects that are difficult for me not for classes like; psych, spanish, history, english. I only worry if i have a test on a subject that I suck at.

Have you been paying attention in class? How good is your memory?

I didn't have to "study" much in high school or college, thanks to attending all the classes and just having a good memory. I would briefly flip through the book the night before, often getting bored after 15 minutes, and do well on the test the next day.
