4770 has arrived

I think this card is priced too high.

Right now 4870 512MB looks like the best deal ($140 AR Free shipping with Stalker Clear Sky game)

Has there been any benchmarks for this card yet? Lets wait and see how it perform's before we jump to conclusions

What about for GTA4?

There are games that need more than 512mb. It's a need IMO.

Again, not for a lower mid range card like this. If you want more memory, you'll have to cough up more money for a version with 1GB. There are 1GB 4850s and 4870/90s for that. I'm sure there will eventually be 1GB versions of the 4700s, but right now 512MB is plenty for this card in the vast majority of situations.

Does anyone think this card would run well without a 6-pin PC-E power connector attached?

In the X-bit review they only measured 47.1 watts at full 3D load. (basically the ~same power consumption as HD4670)

It won't run without it. I forgot to connect it before and it flashed a warning across the screen.

GTA4 is much more dependent on number of cores and FSB.

Also, it's a shit port and should not be taken into consideration when looking at computer gaming as a whole.
